Not even a special date like Children's Day represented a truce between Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi. The businesswoman used her social media to post a lengthy statement in which she criticized the footballer for failing to pay child support and, in addition, for covering expenses for others.
Wanda's claim regarding child support debt
Wanda stated that Icardi had not fulfilled his basic obligations toward his children. "Not paying even a single peso (0.22 USD) in child support, when you have a moral obligation in addition to a court order, fines, etc., is violence," she stated harshly.
She also accused him of ignoring important dates in the children's lives: "Violence is also ruining and ignoring their special days, standing them up on Father's Day or not showing up for their birthdays. Yesterday, on Children's Day, not a single gift, not even a post. Of course, the name written on the sneakers or jerseys for the show is never missing."
The controversy over China Suárez's children
In one of the most pointed parts of her statement, Wanda accused her ex of taking care of Eugenia "China" Suárez's children. According to her, Icardi allegedly paid the tuition for a private school "just out of revenge."
"You take care of new kids, paying for schools that their own parents couldn't afford," meanwhile, for your daughters, this is the second year you haven't paid," she claimed.
The media personality also questioned Icardi's lawyers, Elba Marcovecchio and Lara Piro, by asking: "What kind of family lawyers celebrate such abandonment by a father, who hasn't paid for health insurance or child support in ten months?"

Wanda emphasized that, despite everything, she had continued helping the footballer's family: "I've always done it and I'll keep doing it. They are dignified people who work hours and hours to earn what you squander on schools for children who aren't your responsibility."
To conclude her statement, she clarified that the school expenses for her three sons had always come from her own work: "In Europe, many times I paid them from my company, of which I'm the sole partner. When the kids distance themselves, it's not because of lack of payment, but because of abandonment and replacement, in addition to the humiliation of seeing how you celebrate other children while ignoring them on their special days."
