Mauro Icardi will turn to the police to reunite with his daughters, according to his lawyer.

The legal conflict between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara added a new episode. The court determined that the footballer should see his daughters, Francesca and Isabella, again, but the host decided not to comply with the order. Faced with this situation, the player, along with his legal team, made a drastic decision.

Since last November, the relationship between Icardi and Nara has become increasingly tense, both in the media and in the judicial sphere.  The main dispute revolves around the custody of their daughters, who haven't seen their father since January.

After several legal instances, a court ruling determined that Wanda should allow the reunion with the footballer, but she chose to keep the minors under her care. Faced with the refusal, Icardi's lawyer, Elba Marcovecchio, announced that they requested the intervention of public force to enforce the resolution.

The reasons behind the dispute

Since Mauro Icardi returned to Argentina for his rehabilitation after an injury in Türkiye, the custody of his daughters has become a point of conflict with his ex-partner. Initially, the girls were able to see their father for a few days under a visitation regime, but then those meetings were suspended.

It is speculated that Wanda Nara's decision was based on the testimony of the minors, who reportedly expressed their discomfort with the presence of a nanny and actress Eugenia "la China" Suárez in Icardi's house. Additionally, the footballer's intention to take them to live in Türkiye was another determining factor in the businesswoman's stance.

Faced with Nara's persistent refusal, Icardi turned to the court again. In a first instance, it was determined that she was not in contempt. However, a new ruling ordered that she should return the girls to their father. Despite this, the host continued to disregard the court decision.

Due to the lack of compliance, Icardi and his legal team requested the intervention of public force to ensure the reunion with his daughters."It's our last resort, but we're asking for it. We hope the judge finds another alternative or that Wanda complies with the order," expressed Marcovecchio on the show Desayuno Americano (América).

The lawyer also expressed her concern about Nara's attitude, accusing her of exercising an indirect form of violence by preventing contact between Icardi and his daughters. So far, the cosmetics entrepreneur hasn't commented on the matter, leaving the conflict at a point of maximum tension.
