Yanina Latorre revealed that the footballer is close to Rayo Vallecano after leaving Galatasaray, although the exit restriction from the country and the embargo on his mansion could hinder his future

Mauro Icardi would already have his next destination defined following his departure from Galatasaray. Amid the conflict he is having with Wanda Nara, host Yanina Latorre announced live that the footballer is close to continuing his career in Spain.

During the program Sálvese quien pueda, on América TV, Latorre shared that she received reports about a possible signing. “I’m being told, among other things, that someone posted on Twitter that Mauro Icardi would already have a club, which would be in Madrid, the Rayo Vallecano, a team from the B division in Madrid,” she noted.

The panelist added another detail: the player “would be looking for a house to settle in a new country.” However, she immediately clarified that his legal situation could compromise any European plans.

“Ana Rosenfeld is telling me that Mauro Icardi cannot leave the country and that the restriction imposed by Judge Hagopián is still in effect,” Latorre expressed, adding that she clarified this “because there seems to be some confusion.”

The embargo on the Dream House

While speculation about his football future continues, Icardi received another bad news from the courts. Judge Adrián Hagopián ordered a preventive embargo of 2,745,000 dollars on the mansion that the forward has in Nordelta, known as the Dream House.

The measure originated from the alimony claim initiated by Wanda Nara through her lawyer Ana Rosenfeld. Some time ago, the footballer refused to pay the provisional alimony set at 30,000 dollars per month. Although he made previous transfers, he continued to owe the payments for June and July.

Ángel de Brito reported on LAM that the Justice ruled in favor of the request for a precautionary measure. Aware of the ruling, Icardi responded with a furious statement on Instagram.

In one of the stories, he uploaded a nighttime image of the garden of the house and wrote: “Full moon, July 2026. The fuller the moon, the more desperate those who live in the shadows.” In another, he pointed directly at the judge: “Does Judge Hagopián take a percentage for the inheritance in life of 3 million dollars that he wants to satisfy his ‘friends’?”

The footballer's statement

Icardi insisted that there are no grounds for the embargo and announced that he will appeal. “What would be the grounds for the supposed embargo? None, it has none. It gives me a perfect reason for the appeal,” he wrote. He also questioned the continuity of certain judicial officials and recalled amounts that had been claimed in previous stages without success.

In another post, he pointed out that to execute an embargo, there must first be a debt and then a trial. “So much fuss to embargo an amount that doesn’t even reach 20% of the value of my house?” he wondered, adding: “I’ve always heard the phrase ‘children don’t eat bricks,’ and with the supposed embargo, they can’t even start with the entrance gate.”

The footballer also criticized part of the media and showed a mural with his face and that of China Suárez. About that image, he joked: “Can I hang the painting or does he want to embargo it?” He also recalled previous resolutions that prevented María Eugenia Suárez from being in her own house.

In the last story, he asked the judge questions about the estimated expenses for his daughters and closed with a phrase: “All for the best interest of the child and their well-being.” Thus, while there is talk of a possible destination in Spanish football, the ongoing legal case in Argentina continues to condition Mauro Icardi's next steps.
