Maxi López spoke about the clash between Icardi and Vicuña: he urged to think about the kids

After Mauro Icardi's provocation towards Benjamín Vicuña and the appearance of chats that may have been leaked, Maxi López decided to speak out. The former player expressed himself clearly about the scandals surrounding both and left a strong message: that someone should think of the kids.

In a conversation with Intrusos, López did not beat around the bush. “I find everything so strange, it would be good if someone thought about the kids and cut all the media nonsense. Mauro needs to think about those girls, I’m staying out of it but we need to think about the kids,” he said. His stance was forceful and focused on the impact that these public fights can have on the little ones.

The former footballer acknowledged that he is familiar with similar situations. “I’ve been through it and I know everything that’s happening right now, but I’m staying out of it because I’m not interested. Thank God it’s a moment that is far behind in my life, I have the opportunity to spend time with my children and I have a good relationship with Wanda. They weren’t happy moments and today I can spend all my energy on everything my kids need, I’m sticking with that,” he added.

López also referred to the infidelity rumors that circulated in recent hours about his relationship with Daniela Christiansson. He was direct and straightforward: he is not interested in entering that discussion.

“I don’t even know who he is or what agenda he has or what he wants to do. When things come out that aren’t true, I stay out of it. I’m already tired, I’ve been through so much that I prefer not to comment. I’m not interested and I don’t waste time on that,” he explained. And he closed with a phrase that summarizes his current priority: “They come out saying something like that, I have my family and 5 kids, there must be some objective.”

In the same program, Nora Colosimo also commented on the confrontation between Icardi and Vicuña. The journalist refused to take sides. “I’m not on either side, I think it’s ugly from both parties,” she stated when asked about the conflict.

When asked to clarify why she thought it was ugly also from Vicuña's side, who had not made public statements, Colosimo specified that she was not referring to the Chilean actor but to his followers. “He didn’t say anything, he didn’t say anything bad. I’m talking about how Chile responded to him, how they supported and accompanied him, which also doesn’t seem right to me to bother the other party like that.”

The journalist was referring to the cooking recipes that Chilean fans started leaving in the comments of Icardi's posts as a way to provoke him. Colosimo made it clear immediately that she was not accusing Vicuña of having organized that campaign.
