According to Luah, the footballer told her at that time that he was separating from his current partner, Daniela Christiansson. With her, he has a daughter named Elle.

The 27-year-old assured that everything started when she saw a story by Maxi López on Instagram. From there, he wrote to her privately to compliment her name. That chat led to a conversation that lasted several days.
"On December 24, I saw one of his stories and that's when he wrote to me. He told me he liked my name and we started talking like any normal conversation," she recounted in a dialogue with Juan Etchegoyen.
When asked if she had feelings for him, the model was blunt: "I didn't fall in love with Maxi, because many things have to happen for that. There was never anything sexual or intimate between us".
However, she admitted that at first she was attracted to his personality. "I liked him a lot as a person. I felt he was someone honest and a good person, or at least that's what he tried to show," she explained.
