The mayor of Valle Hermoso squanders public resources on the gender agenda.

Despite the city's various needs, Daniel Spadoni prefers to waste taxpayers' money

Although the city faces more urgent and diverse needs, Mayor Daniel Spadoni chooses to allocate public funds to the construction of the Plaza of Equity and Diversity. This space holds only symbolic value and offers no real solution to the victims of violence against women.

This unusual (yet repeated) situation took place in the town of Valle Hermoso, located in the Punilla Valley, Córdoba. Here, the municipality inaugurated the Plaza of Equity and Diversity this Monday.

The space is located at 500 General Paz Avenue, at the intersection with the railway tracks and Route 38. It was inaugurated two weeks after the local City Council unanimously approved the designation of May 17 as the "Municipal Day for Equality and Non-Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression."

Regarding this event, the Juecista mayor and gender agenda supporter declared: "We are a broad and inclusive administration. This is a recognition of the LGTBIQ+ community, which is present in our town and the department, and we value it. All human beings are equal in one thing, which is that we are all different. If we don't accept it, we can't coexist. We must accept all the realities of our community."

Gabriela Coloccini, head of the municipality's Gender Equity Area, participated in the event and advocated for "a fairer and more equal Valle Hermoso." Members of Punilla Diversa from Valle Hermoso, Cosquín, and La Falda also participated. Jésica Reyes, from Casa Trans La Falda, and municipal cabinet officials were also present.

They worked together to promote the project that established May 17 as the "Municipal Day for Equality and Non-Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression," within the framework of the municipality's adherence to provincial law 10.544.

The real problems of Valle Hermoso

It is well known that the Punilla town has more urgent priorities to address that would indeed provide a concrete response to the needs of the city's residents.

In this regard, a resident of the town, completely astonished by the inauguration of this space, expressed to this outlet his dismay with the municipality. He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the way Spadoni squanders public funds.

Unusually, and according to this resident's statement, just a few blocks from where this plaza was inaugurated, the streets are in a ruinous state (and dangerous for those who travel on them).

The state of neglect of the streets where the town's residents travel is clearly visible. This is evident in the lack of maintenance due to the enormous potholes that have formed over time.

This demonstrates that the mayor's political interests do not align with the needs of Valle Hermoso's residents. Thus, Spadoni decides with complete carelessness to squander taxpayers' money on these kinds of useless spaces.

Thus, the same resident confided to La Derecha Diario Córdoba that the city's water cooperative will increase the cost of the service this month by 130%. This shows that the mayor has no problem imposing rate hikes to finance gender policies that only defraud the town's residents.

Meanwhile, while the city's streets remain broken, full of potholes, and forgotten by the municipal government, Spadoni raises local taxes and spends public resources on themed plazas with ideological slogans.

The priority is no longer the resident who gets up early to work, but rather gender propaganda that serves narrow and foreign interests. The "Plaza of Equity and Diversity" doesn't fix the potholes or improve the lives of those who truly sustain the municipality.

It only pleases a minority group that prefers to squander public resources rather than propose real solutions to the supposed problems they denounce.

Once again, narrative prevails over management and demagoguery replaces common sense. Meanwhile, Valle Hermoso's resident seems doomed to continue financing Daniel Spadoni's ideological circus with his taxes.

Unfortunately, the mayor chooses to promote, obey, and staunchly defend the directives of the gender agenda, to the detriment of the real needs of the people of the town he governs.
