La Matanza: a merchant ran over, took justice into his own hands, and killed a thief after a robbery
A man from La Matanza chased the thieves who robbed his father-in-law and ended up running over one of them.
In another episode of insecurity in La Matanza, a shopkeeper took justice into his own hands after a violent assault on his family. This incident once again exposed the citizens' helplessness against crime, occurring last night in Lomas del Mirador.
The province of Buenos Aires led by Axel Kicillof is in the hands of criminals. This time it was Javier L, 30 years old, who chased and ran over one of the thieves who had robbed his father-in-law's diaper store.

The assault and Javier L's reaction
The robbery occurred when two criminals entered the diaper store run by Javier L's father-in-law. After the heist, the criminals escaped on a Bajaj Rouser 250 cc motorcycle, which sparked the shopkeeper's fury. Javier, upon learning of what happened, took his Volkswagen Amarok and began to chase the thieves, determined to seek justice on his own.
The chase and the fatal run-over
The chase ended on O'Gorman Street, when one of the criminals, in an attempt to continue fleeing, tried to steal a neighbor's motorcycle. However, seeing that their escape was compromised, both thieves continued on foot. It was at that moment that Javier caught up with them and, according to police information, ran them over with his vehicle.
One of the thieves died instantly, while the other was injured and taken to Balestrini Hospital, out of danger.

The judicial action
The prosecutor of the case, Adrián Arribas, from the Homicide UFI, appeared at the crime scene. After reviewing the evidence, he decided not to charge Javier L for the moment. It is worth noting that the Bajaj Rouser motorcycle had been stolen the previous day in the Ciudad Evita area, according to a police report.
