Armed robbers attacked a couple while they were taking their baby to the doctor in La Matanza.

The violent robbery occurred last Wednesday, less than 12 hours after Kim Gómez's crime.

The growing wave of crime in the province of Buenos Aires once again highlights the lack of effective measures by the disastrous government of Axel Kicillof to ensure the safety of Buenos Aires residents.

In a new display of the growing insecurity plaguing the Buenos Aires suburbs, a young family was robbed at gunpoint while heading to a medical appointment with their two-month-old baby.

The violent robbery occurred last Wednesday in the town of Aldo Bonzi, a Kirchnerist district of La Matanza, less than 12 hours after the crime of Kim Gómez, the 7-year-old girl murdered in La Plata by underage criminals.

Fernando, 26 years old, was joined by his partner and their baby in his Volkswagen Amarok when, early in the morning, a car abruptly stopped next to their vehicle.

Three armed criminals got out of the car and threatened the couple with the intent to rob. According to the victim, the assailants demanded that they get out of the vehicle, but allowed the mother to remove the baby before stripping them of the truck, cell phones, and the baby stroller.

The episode, which was recorded by the local security cameras, shows the assailants quickly fleeing in the stolen vehicle, while the couple remains at the scene visibly shaken, though fortunately unharmed.

"Thank God we're fine. It was what was seen in the video and nothing more. Obviously, the fear remains, but luckily nothing to regret," expressed Fernando, who works as a driver for a ride-sharing app and is a soccer coach.

The robbery occurred minutes before 7:00 a.m., when the family was taking a brief moment to return home to retrieve a forgotten item. During that time, the criminals attacked, reflecting the extreme vulnerability in which Buenos Aires residents live, who are increasingly fearful and concerned about the growing crime in the Province.

The case is being investigated by prosecutor Alejandra Núñez from the Functional Instruction Unit No. 8 of La Matanza, although so far the stolen items have not been recovered nor have the criminals been identified. The truck is still missing, while authorities continue to search for clues to clarify the incident.

The incident adds to a series of security issues in the province of Buenos Aires, where the feeling of lack of protection by the Kirchnerist government among citizens has intensified in recent months.

This robbery, like the crime of Kim Gómez, highlights the inability of the provincial administration to ensure a safe environment for citizens.

As robberies and other crimes increase, and in the face of Kicillof's inaction, concern for security becomes one of the main demands of the population.
