The president delivered a festive greeting with a review of the main pillars of his administration and the government's future

Just hours before the Christmas celebrations, President Javier Milei shared a message through his social media accounts in which he combined a festive greeting with a review of the main pillars of his administration and a preview of the course he plans to deepen in the coming months.

The post was accompanied by an 86-second video and a brief text that summed up the spirit of the message: “Merry Christmas in Freedom. Long live Freedom, damn it!”.

Throughout the video, the head of state alternated a celebratory tone with political and economic statements, emphasizing both the achievements and the challenges that, according to what he stated, still lie ahead. In that context, Milei announced that the reform process will continue with intensity and warned: “Fasten your seat belts because there are going to be many more reforms”.

One of the central points of the message was linked to the economic situation. The President highlighted the fiscal adjustment carried out since the beginning of his administration and described it as a historic event.

“We lowered the consolidated fiscal deficit from 15 points of GDP to zero. It is the most successful stabilization process in history and we are going to continue along the same path, lowering spending and lowering taxes”, he maintained.

Along the same lines, he emphasized progress in inflation and social matters: “We put inflation in order and, whether they like it or not, we took 12 million people out of poverty. We eliminated the foreign exchange controls on the Argentine economy forever”.

The President also referred to foreign policy and internal security as areas where significant progress has been made. On the international stage, he stated: “The bilateral trade agreement with the United States has just been signed”.

Regarding public order, he recalled the situation prior to the beginning of his term and contrasted it with the current scenario: “Remember that we had nine thousand roadblocks per year, today it is zero”.

In that context, Milei highlighted the package of security reforms promoted together with former minister and current senator Patricia Bullrich. “That's why we presented with Doctor (Patricia) Bullrich these zero-tolerance reforms against crime. We went after drug traffickers, we re-equipped the security forces and we created the Federal Directorate of Investigations to pursue organized crime”, he stated during the message.

Another of the axes addressed was that of political and electoral reforms. The head of state defended the implementation of the Single Paper Ballot and underlined the unprecedented nature of the measure. “No government, while being the ruling party, wanted to implement the SPB and we were the only ones who had the courage to do it”, he pointed out.

He then reinforced the epic tone of the message with a party slogan: “From now on, let us paint the entire country purple! The entire country, from La Quiaca to Ushuaia, confirmed its determination to change the destiny of the homeland irreversibly”.

Looking ahead to the immediate future, Milei reaffirmed his determination to move forward with his political and economic program, even in a complex parliamentary context. “With this Congress, do not have any doubts that we are going to go all the way to the bone until we make Argentina the freest country in the world and until we become great again”, he expressed.

The message concluded with a Christmas greeting addressed to the citizenry and a spiritual reference that has already become customary in his public appearances. “May God bless you all. May the force of heaven be with you. Long live freedom, damn it!”, the President concluded, bringing to an end a message that sought to mark the close of the year and to anticipate the course of the administration in the stage to come.
