Meta returns to the smart glasses market, but this time with a proposal designed for athletes. In partnership with Oakley, it will launch this Friday, June 21 a new model focused on high performance.
The initiative targets those who practice extreme sports and want to capture their activities without using traditional cameras. The official presentation is already generating anticipation on social media.

A collaboration aimed at high performance
The news became known through a teaser published on @oakleymeta, an Instagram account created specifically for this campaign. The video shows the Meta and Oakley logos together, in the style of the previous launch with Ray-Ban.
The announcement was shared by the official accounts of Meta, Oakley, and even Mark Zuckerberg. In addition, Meta's online store already displays a promotional banner with the phrase: "The next evolution arrives on June 21".
Design intended for extreme sports
Unlike Ray-Ban Meta, which is more focused on urban life, these glasses have a sporty design. They are inspired by the Sphaera model, one of Oakley's most popular due to its lightweight and aerodynamic structure.
