Miguel Ángel Pierri, Morena Rial's lawyer: Morena's situation is complicated

Miguel Ángel Pierri, Morena Rial's lawyer, referred to the case and admitted that the situation is "hyper complex."He explained that the leaked messages are part of "preparatory acts" that, in technical terms, wouldn't be punishable, although the Justice will decide her responsibility.

"Morena is already in a complicated situation and we're trying to simplify it. She must comply with judicial requests and attend therapy. From what happened, she became aware of the mistakes she made in Córdoba and Tucumán", he stated on the program DDM, (América).

He also expressed surprise and indignation at the dissemination of the chats in the media.  "I called the prosecutor and asked why they were in the hands of the press. They have the right to inform, but there's a limit," he maintained. He also confirmed that the case "will definitely go to trial."

Leaked chats: the role of her baby in the alleged crimes

The revealed messages expose conversations in which Morena Rial was apparently organizing illicit activities, even involving her son in her movements.

According to journalist Martín Candalaft on DDM, Morena exchanged messages with Alan Fernández, who called her "bandit" in the early morning. In an audio, a third party stated that "Morena was talking to Pato" and referred to the planning of robberies. Alan, upset, reproached her for committing crimes with another person.

One of the most compromising messages showed Morena organizing a trip with her baby: "I'm going with Luna and the baby. Put gas because yesterday I put 25 grand and we spent almost everything. At least, put 15. We're not making a dime and we're losing gas." She also mentioned that "the tanks are in the trunk" and that she needed to recover what was spent.

The revelations intensified the scandal and increased the pressure on the Justice. Meanwhile, her defense seeks to preserve her freedom, the evidence could lead Morena Rial to face serious legal consequences.
