Milei's government announced a Labor Training Center at the Garrigós site
The Center will provide technical and technological training suited to the current job market
The Government of Javier Milei, through the Ministry of Human Capital, led by Sandra Pettovello, announced on Monday the start of a comprehensive transformation at the Garrigós complex, located in the La Paternal neighborhood of Buenos Aires, with the goal of turning it into a modern Vocational Training Center for traditional and digital trades.
The initiative seeks to give new life to a building of great historical value, which will become an educational and productive hub focused on training young people and adults, in line with the demands of today's labor market. According to the official statement, high-quality courses will be offered in technical and technological fields, prioritizing those with rapid job placement.

Among the planned specializations, industrial automation and robotics, mechatronics, and predictive maintenance stand out, along with other programs designed to respond to strategic productive sectors. The Ministry emphasized that the training programs will be designed not only to improve individual employability, but also to enhance the competitiveness of the Argentine economy.
The project will have a strong component of coordination with the private and academic sectors. The new hub will be connected with companies, business chambers, universities, and government agencies, creating a training and employment ecosystem that enables participants to quickly enter the formal labor market.
From the office led by Sandra Pettovello, it was highlighted that the initiative represents "formal labor inclusion and the development of human capital in Argentina."

In addition to training in digital trades, training in traditional trades will also be promoted, as part of a comprehensive strategy to sustain jobs that continue to be in high demand in the Argentine economy.
The Garrigós complex will now be a reference space for training, innovation, and work. Its enhancement not only preserves the architectural heritage of the La Paternal neighborhood, but also projects it as a center of opportunities for Argentines seeking to progress.
With this announcement, Milei's Government reinforces its commitment to the development of human capital, aiming for practical, high-quality education to become a key driver of the country's economic and social development.
