The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) reported that the Argentine economy is maintaining solid year-on-year growth, with a 6.4% increase in June compared to the same month of the previous year, according to data from the Monthly Economic Activity Estimator (EMAE).
This indicator reflects the activity of the various productive sectors and shows that, despite the slight seasonally adjusted monthly decline of 0.7%, the country continues to show a positive performance compared to 2024, thanks to the Government's successful economic plan under Javier Milei.
Twelve of the sectors that make up the EMAE recorded year-on-year increases in June, with financial intermediation standing out in particular, which grew by a remarkable 28.7%. This sector had a strong impact on the economy, showing the consolidation of the financial system and the expansion of services related to loans, investments, and banking operations.

Wholesale and retail trade and repairs, meanwhile, posted a year-on-year growth of 11.5%, being the activity with the greatest positive impact on the EMAE. This increase demonstrates sustained dynamism in domestic consumption, as well as the recovery and expansion of companies offering goods and services at both the retail and wholesale levels, generating employment and strengthening the local economy.
