The Argentine ambassador in Washington, Alec Oxenford, announced the organization of an event called Argentina Week in New York, with the goal of showcasing to the world the new direction of Argentina under the Government of Javier Milei.
Through a message published on his X account, the diplomat confirmed that the initiative will take place between March 9 and 11, 2026 and highlighted the strategic relevance of the meeting for the country's economic integration.
“I want to share great news: from March 9 to 11, 2026, we will hold Argentina Week in New York, a high-level event that will bring together government authorities, global business leaders, banks, investment funds, and companies from the energy, mining, technology, infrastructure, and other strategic sectors that already invest—or are considering investing—in our country” he stated.

The ambassador emphasized that this international forum is being organized in an exceptional context of bilateral rapprochement. In his statement, he said that “this initiative comes at a historic and unprecedented moment in the relationship between the United States and Argentina, marked by friendship, trust, cooperation, and a renewed optimism about the opportunities presented by President Javier Milei's Argentina”.
Oxenford also pointed out that the proposal seeks to consolidate a high-impact space that connects private and public leaders with key sectors of the Argentine economy.
The event will be organized by the Argentine Embassy in the United States together with three major global financial institutions: JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Kaszek.
The presence of these entities will help strengthen the country's international visibility and promote the arrival of new private investment projects. In his message, Oxenford also highlighted the symbolic component of the meeting by assuring that “it will be an Argentine milestone in Manhattan. The Big Apple will be dressed in light blue and white to show the world the new chapter of investment and growth that we are building”.

Through his social media, the president stated that this is a decisive opportunity to showcase the economic direction driven by his administration.
“Extraordinary initiative! Argentina Week in New York will be a unique opportunity to show the world the enormous opportunities that are opening up with Argentina's transformation. I will be there to communicate with clarity and conviction the new Argentina: open, prosperous, and free. MAGA!” he said.
This way, Argentina Week is emerging as one of the most relevant international activities of 2026 to promote the country's economic outlook, generate connections with major investment funds, and reinforce the external projection of the policies promoted by Milei's Government.
