Reinforcements and operations in critical areas
Milei also highlighted the reinforcement of personnel in the operations. Authorities incorporated 63 brigade members from ETAC in Córdoba and 15 members of the National Northeast Brigade of the National Fire Management Service, bringing the total to 78 new personnel deployed in the area.
The work is focused on strategic sectors such as Los Paredones, where the fire crossed National Route No. 40 and advanced toward Laguna Las Mercedes. In that context, National Highways had to temporarily interrupt traffic as a preventive measure due to the dense smoke and large flames.
