A militant from La Cámpora abused an 89-year-old grandmother in a nursing home.
An ultra-Kirchnerist militant detained, political favoritism, and the cover-up of an abhorrent act
The crime that shakes Carmen de Areco exposes, once again, how Kirchnerism protects its own, even when they are accused of the worst crimes.
A provincial nursing home, an elderly woman of 89 years with dementia and two strokes, a sexual abuse and a responsible party: Darío Solís, a member of La Cámpora and a personal friend of the Peronist mayor Iván Villagrán.
The incident was reported by a nurse who, instead of receiving support for her bravery, suffered extortions so that the case would not become public.
The accused, who is now detained in San Andrés de Giles, had obtained the position thanks to his relationship with the mayor and, in the midst of the 2023 electoral campaign, also received a lot with services in a municipal raffle.

Kirchnerism remains silent
After the case was exposed on the program La Cornisa, the mayor Villagrán turned off his cell phone and avoided answering questions. Social media exploded with outrage, and in Carmen de Areco, there is already talk of a new "Guazzora" case, in reference to another Kirchnerist activist involved in heinous crimes.
The director of the Hospital Subzonal Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Fernando Romero, tried to control the damage with a press conference that only caused more doubts.
Meanwhile, the Municipality issued a statement claiming the arrest of Solís, when in reality it is the Justice that is solely empowered to do so.
As a last attempt to defend himself, Solísrecorded a video proclaiming his innocence and assuring that "the truth will come to light." However, his judicial situation is serious, and his connection with local politics further aggravates the scandal.

In the face of the lack of responses from the municipal Executive, the opposition took action. Juntos councilor, Carina Heffler, requested an extraordinary session to address the situation, invoking the Organic Law of Municipalities.
"It is essential that the local legislative power pronounces on this heinous act," she declared, making it clear that the case can't remain in impunity.
This case once again demonstrates that, when the heinous crimes of Kirchnerism come to light, they choose to remain silent, cover up, and protect their own.
Meanwhile, an elderly woman of 89 years was a victim of abuse within a State institution, the Peronist political apparatus is concerned with shielding a militant accused of committing the crime.
