The Association of University Teachers and Researchers of Córdoba (ADIUC) is joining a new 48-hour strike. The measure responds to demands regarding budget and salaries, even though UNC continues to operate normally. On Thursday afternoon, they will march with torches in the city center.
The union called for a gathering in front of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Central Campus. There, they will carry out street interventions, a public class, and a symbolic torch circle. According to ADIUC, the objective is "to make the salary deterioration visible" and to denounce an alleged adjustment.
The strike was decided by FAB, CONADU, and the Trade Union Front for the Universities, union sectors that have historically replied to Kirchnerism. The protest is taking place in a context where many universities are facing serious audits. UNC is no exception.

Strikes and protests while UNC continues to receive funding and operates without interruption
The national government assures that the university system receives sufficient funds to operate. The allocations were transferred normally throughout the year. Public education is not at risk, although union sectors continue to insist on taking industrial action.
