The head of the National Ministry of Health celebrated the initiative of the United States Government to issue dietary recommendations based on evidence and common sense
National Minister of Health Mario Lugones aligned himself with the idea of promoting healthy and natural eating to the detriment of the intake of ultra-processed products.
In this regard, the official said that he shares the vision of the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert Kennedy, who expressed support for eating "real food."
"More than 50% of the population in Argentina is overweight. This increases the risk of having health problems. We agree with Robert Kennedy on the need to promote healthier citizens through better nutrition and a comprehensive review of the ingredients present in ultra-processed products," Lugones stated.
