Mirtha Legrand asked Jey Mammón a direct question: 'Did the rape occur?'
The host made her guest feel very uncomfortable, and the guest replied sarcastically
Mirtha Legrand invited Jey Mammón to her show almost two years after Lucas Benvenuto released his accusation of sexual abuse against the former Telefe host.
True to her style, the diva of the "mesazas" held nothing back and asked the comedian everything. "How did you feel?" she began by asking him about the time he spent away from the media.
"Very bad. But also very good because I found myself. I found many people I needed to get closer to. I also had to distance myself from other people as well," Jey said firmly.

"But did they sue you?" Mirtha asked. "No. At one point I started lawsuits myself but then I got tired. Because I believed I needed to put my energy into what's happening now and it happened," the man acknowledged, giving the exclusive scoop that he will return to broadcast television.
"People didn't give you work? Did they turn their backs on you?" Mirtha Legrand asked almost innocently. To which the interviewee continued: "People is a broad concept. You see that PEOPLE is one thing. But people never turned their backs on me."
"But did the rape happen?" the diva shot at him. "I'm not going to make you feel uncomfortable... 'why did you kill your parents?'" Jey quickly replied, recalling Mirtha's interview with Sergio Shoklender. He added: "The answer is no."
"As I told you off the air, ask me whatever you want. Because if there's someone I want to talk to, it's you. Obviously I'm going to tell you no, which is what I've always said. But I also want to tell you and at this table that when there was an accusation, there was nothing behind that accusation, about something that happened 17 years ago," Mammon defended himself.
"And I, as I am, needed to put the truth on the table. I wanted to speak and many told me no, to let the subject fade away. But I wanted to speak because I didn't want the subject to fade away. I wanted it to be in the spotlight," he emphasized regarding his position.
