Mirtha Legrand confronted Viviana Canosa and questioned El Trece: 'She was aggressive'

Mirtha Legrand got fully involved in the controversy between Viviana Canosa and Lizy Tagliani, and she held nothing back. The diva questioned the journalist's actions and supported the host amid a scandal that shook El Trece.

On her show La Noche de Mirtha, Chiqui didn't avoid the topic and was blunt: "We would be hypocrites if we didn't talk about the issue". Additionally, she opened the floor for her guests to also share their opinions on the strong media accusations.

A judicial case that worries

Journalist Diego Sehinkman emphasized that it is a delicate judicial complaint and must be handled with caution. "There is a very important figure involved, and that entails a labor and reputational risk," he noted.

Legrand was clear when taking a stance: "I don't really know who is right, but I lean a bit toward Lizy."

She added about Canosa: "She was quite aggressive. It's not usual for all the media to talk about the same scandal at the same time."

Pablo Echarri also joined the debate and was categorical: "What Canosa did was an act of cruelty. It's part of her modus operandi." He questioned the host's journalistic style and her habit of harshly exposing public figures.

The host also left a message for the channel where she works: "I'm intrigued that the channel continues with the topic. It's a serious channel."

"They never forbid us from talking about anything, but it's an important channel, with a very influential newspaper behind it," she concluded.
