Mirtha Legrand's statement that raised doubts about her future on TV
The diva opened her heart and spoke candidly about the possibility of leaving her historic show
Mirtha Legrand moved everyone by recalling the tribute she received at the Palacio Libertad, where she was named Emeritus Person of Culture. "When I leave this world, don't forget me," she said, moved.
Afterwards, in front of Alfredo Casero, Pablo Novak, Jorge Fernández Díaz, and Andrea Ghidone, the host made an unexpected confession. "Every year I think about retiring, for years... and La Chiqui continues".

A life dedicated to art
Legrand also shared how she knew her destiny from a very young age: "I like being an artist. When I was a child, they asked me 'what do you want to be?' and I said 'artist,' not actress or dancer."
With more than 80 years of career, Mirtha Legrand remains relevant. Every weekend she studies her guests, challenges them with sharp questions, and continues to set the agenda from her classic table.
Mirtha Legrand habló de su retiro y generó dudas sobre su futuro en la televisión
Her time in Mar del Plata during the summer
During the last summer, the diva did everything possible for her show to be broadcast from Mar del Plata. Far from taking a vacation, she fought to stay on screen.
That reinforced her commitment to work and her passion for being close to the audience. Although she acknowledges thinking about retiring, she doesn't seem to have a concrete date.

Is the end of an era approaching?
Mirtha's words opened the door to the possibility of a farewell. However, as so many times in her career, La Chiqui seems willing to keep fighting in front of the cameras.
For now, her future remains an enigma. But if she made anything clear, it's that her love for her profession hasn't faded.
