Mirtha Legrand became a trending topic again, this time far from television studios. The legendary host of La Noche de Mirthastarred in a commercial for Shell that quickly spread across media and social networks, sparking debate over the amount she reportedly received.
According to reports, El Trece's diva allegedly earned around 500 thousand dollars, a figure as striking as her unexpected appearance in the campaign.

The commercial was already circulating on television and social media, and surprised audiences with its careful production and the choice of Mirtha as the star. At 98 years old, the host not only excelled on camera in an embroidered red evening gown and matching earrings, but she could also achieve a Guinness record as the oldest personality to star in a multimillion-dollar advertisement.

The sequence took place in Mar del Plata, in front of the traditional Costa Galana. There, Mirtha had a brief conversation with her driver: "The night is very beautiful, let's take another lap before dropping me off at the hotel."
The driver, while driving, suggested refueling. La Chiqui, with her sharp memory and a touch of humor, replied: "Keep going, dear, I'll guide you to Shell."

Once at the service station, an attendant was surprised to see that it was Mirtha in the car. Without hesitation, he offered her premium gasoline. She accepted and added a modern touch by announcing she would pay with the Shell Box app, showing her phone in her hand.

The commercial ended with a play on words aimed at capturing customers: "La Chiqui. La Shell. La de todos."
