San Lorenzo is experiencing days of maximum institutional tension. After months on leave, Marcelo Moretti will resume his duties as club president, following the scandal involving the hidden camera in which he allegedly accepted a bribe.
His return not only led to the definitive departure of First Vice President, Julio Lopardo, but also triggered a wave of rejection from fans and opposition groups.
In this context, Moretti appeared at the first team's training session at the Ciudad Deportiva, where he had a brief conversation with coach Damián Ayude, spoke with some employees, and left in less than an hour.

However, his presence did not go unnoticed: self-convened members gathered around the club to repudiate his return, while opposition sectors announced a demonstration this Friday at the Avenida La Plata headquarters starting at 7:00 p.m.
The conflict deepened in April, when the video implicating Moretti came to light. Since then, the courts have been investigating him for alleged fraudulent administration, and he decided to temporarily step aside from leadership. Meanwhile, Lopardo took over the club's management, although he was always clear about his position: "If he returns, I resign," he had warned at the time.
Finally, after Moretti's return was confirmed, who sent the official email to the Secretariat and called a Board of Directors meeting for next Monday, Lopardo kept his word and submitted his resignation not only from the interim presidency but also from his position as board member.

The tension increased even further after the official's visit to the headquarters with a notary a few days ago, which foreshadowed the decision that was finalized this week. Amid protests and a tense atmosphere, San Lorenzo's institutional future is once again in check.
