What Moria Casán said about the criticism of her series
During La mañana con Moria (El Trece), Gustavo Méndez shared that he was able to communicate with the host, who is on vacation in the Caribbean for her 80th birthday.
In an audio message sent to the journalist, Moria Casán questioned those who demand the presence of certain people in the production.
“I’m tired of hearing people say that certain individuals should have been in the series. It’s myopia. In eight hours, what needs to come in is my truth, not the truth of someone else’s life”, she stated.

Moria Casán explained that the selection of characters and events was the responsibility of the screenwriters. According to her, she did not intervene in those decisions.

The host added that the screenwriters approached her story from the moment she decided to become Moria Casán.
She also differentiated the events included in the series from those aspects of her life that are already known to the public through television.
“The rest is shown every day on TV, they know it. If they’re not there, it’s because they are people who haven’t changed my life, my being”, she affirmed.

The host also emphasized that a life of 80 years cannot be fully included in an eight-hour production.
“Those who were included were my discoverers. In eight hours, you cannot fit an 80-year life. Those who are not there are because they shouldn’t be”, she concluded.
