The Kirchnerist national deputy Natalia Zaracho announced that she finally finished high school at the age of 37, after having held a seat in the National Congress for more than four years and participating in the discussion of laws that affect the future of millions of Argentines.

The Kirchnerist legislator from Unión por la Patria shared the news on her social media and celebrated completing her studies alongside neighbors from Lomas de Zamora through the FinEs Plan. Zaracho was born on July 5, 1989, and currently serves in the Chamber of Deputies with a term ending in December 2027.

“We finished high school," announced the leader close to the communist activist Juan Grabois. In her post, she explained that she left school at 13 to go to work because of Peronism.

The recently graduated individual took advantage of her graduation to launch a new criticism against the government of Javier Milei. The deputy denounced a supposed national defunding of the FinEs Plan, although the program continues to operate and allowed her to graduate.

For years, Zaracho received a millionaire salary funded by public money while legislating on economic, educational, and labor issues without even having completed high school.

The controversy did not start now. The Kirchnerist leader had previously acknowledged that she finished primary school just before arriving in Congress. Despite that limited academic background, Zaracho took office as a national deputy in December 2021 and was subsequently elected to continue in the position for the 2023-2027 term.

Months ago, the legislator also harshly criticized the labor modernization promoted by Milei's government. Referring to the bank of hours and the possibility for workers and employers to agree on a more flexible distribution of the workday, she stated: “We already lived it” and incorrectly declared that this negotiation “is not going to happen.”

While Zaracho aims to determine and opine with authority from Congress on what the rules should be for companies, workers, and the Argentine educational system, she has only now managed to complete high school.

Her graduation showcases the criteria with which Kirchnerism distributed public positions for years. In any private sector activity, training is required before taking on a decisive role. In Kirchnerist politics, however, the diploma can come several years after the seat and the millionaire salaries.
