The 2025–2026 sport fishing season in Neuquén will officially begin on November 1, one of the most representative and popular activities in southern Argentina. Fishing permits are now available digitally through the official website cazaypesca.neuquen.gob.ar, where the 2025–2026 Patagonian Continental Sport Fishing Regulations can also be downloaded, promoting the conservation of natural resources and responsible fishing.
Towns such as Junín de los Andes, Villa La Angostura, Aluminé, and Villa Pehuenia are strengthening their position as sport fishing tourism hubs, with specialized guides, well-equipped accommodations, and first-class services, ideal for both domestic and international visitors.

The opening of the season will coincide with a new edition of the National Trout Festival, which will be held from October 31 to November 2 in Junín de los Andes.
