Nicolas Cagein Call of Duty is now a reality. Activision confirmed that the renowned actor will arrive as a playable operator in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 alongside the Season 4 Reloaded update.
The addition is part of the "Summer of Action" event, which will debut on June 25 with new maps, modes, weapons, and content for Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and Endgame.

Nicolas Cage in Call of Duty will be one of the main highlights of the mid-season update. The actor stars in the official trailer, where he is seen walking through explosions in the style of several of his most recognized films.
According to Activision, the character will be part of a new thematic Event Pass that will lead the Summer of Action event.
The actor's arrival marks his first appearance within the franchise, which in recent years has included various celebrities as playable characters.

What new features are coming to Black Ops 7 multiplayer
The update will add two highlighted maps for multiplayer:
Zenith, located in a luxury complex next to a cliff.
Launch, a remastered version of the classic map from the first Black Ops.
New game modes will also be introduced:
Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, with constant weapon rotation.
Knife Fight, focused exclusively on close combat.
Additionally, the Black Ops Classic mode will become a permanent part of the game and will include the maps Launch, Fringe, Hacienda, and Gridlock.
The Zombies mode receives a new map set in Japan
Season 4 Reloaded will add Kowakujō, a new Zombies map set in a feudal Japanese castle within the Dark Aether.
Players will face new supernatural enemies, including Oni, as well as Hellhounds and Scorched Zombies.
The update will also include a new Wonder Weapon, special traps, and additional challenges with exclusive rewards.

Warzone brings back classic events and modes
Call of Duty: Warzone will receive new temporary modes during the season.
Squad Gun Game for squads of three players.
Buy Back Quads, which will return later as a special event.
The Champion's Quest, one of the most challenging competitive challenges.
Summer weather will also return to Rebirth Island, although several points of interest added during previous seasons will remain.

Among the new weapons, the return of the assault rifle AN-94 and the melee weapon Executioner's Duet stand out.
Additionally, Activision confirmed new attachments, camos, special events, experience rewards, and cosmetic packs that will be available throughout the update.

The new title developed by Infinity Ward will arrive on October 23 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
The company also confirmed that the game will be available for testing between July 16 and July 19 during the Fanatics Fest event.
