Nicolás Vázquez excelled at Rocky's debut with a crowd of celebrities
The actor starred in the highly anticipated play on Corrientes Street and received a standing ovation from colleagues and friends in the industry
This Tuesday night, the Lola Membrives Theater was transformed into a symbolic ring: Rocky, the theatrical version of the classic film, held its press performance with Nicolás Vázquez as the lead.
Accompanied by Dai Fernández in the role of Adrian, the actor brought to life the unforgettable boxer from Philadelphia, in an adaptation that combined choreography, songs, and an impressive technical production that electrified downtown Buenos Aires.

A premiere night with the flavor of a theatrical feat
The play, based on the 1976 film that launched Sylvester Stallone to stardom, was directed by Mariano Demaría and produced by Gustavo Yankelevich under the RGB Entertainment and Preludio banners.
A red carpet filled with stars

Adrián Suar, Valeria Mazza, Osvaldo Laport, Juan José Campanella and Guido Kaczka were some of those who attended the gala.

From the world of theater and television, Flavio Mendoza, Aníbal Pachano, Mariano Martínez, Federico D'Elía, Esteban Prol, Brenda Gandini, Gonzalo Heredia, and Agustín "Radagast," among many others, also attended.
Journalism was also represented: Mario Massaccesi, Luis Otero, Marcelo Polino, Adrián Pallares, Rodrigo Lussich, Barbie Simons, and Estefanía Berardi joined the evening.

A dream come true for the lead
Vázquez experienced a very special night surrounded by loved ones. His wife, Gimena Accardi, and close friends such as Benjamín Amadeo, Cande Vetrano, and Andrés Gil accompanied him in this challenge that he described as "a dream come true."

At the end of the performance, the actor took the microphone and deeply thanked the presence of so many colleagues: "We performed a show with all of you here, we're crazy," he said, moved.

He also highlighted national theater: "So many people fighting for theater in Argentina... This version of Rocky was made only here, it's Argentine and it's ours."
For the final greeting, Vázquez came out to the lobby dressed as Rocky Balboa: with a cape, gloves, sweaty, and with the "bruises" from the final fight. The audience gave him a standing ovation, celebrating a night that blended talent, passion, and pure Argentine heart.
