A simple prompt was enough for Nicole Neumann to surprise everyone on Los 8 escalones (eltrece) with an unthinkable revelation about her sister Geraldine. The trigger was a question related to a Spanish study on the incidence of lice in children between 6 and 7 years old. What seemed like just another prompt on the show led to personal anecdotes that did not go unnoticed.
While the contestant was trying to guess the percentage of children who had lice at least once in the past year, El Polaco jumped in with an unfiltered confession. "I had them as a child. They used to say I had sweet blood. My mom would use the fine-tooth comb in the communication notebook... then she'd put kerosene on me," he recalled, laughing, before giving the floor to his fellow judge.
Then came the comment that left everyone speechless. "I don't want to throw my sister under the bus, but the one with the favorable pH was Gegé. I wouldn't go in the pool because she always had lice. I've caught them myself at some point, obviously," Nicole said with complete honesty. The remark, made in a joking tone, was received with humor in the studio, although it was still an unexpected revelation about her sister Geraldine Neumann, who is also a public figure.
With three daughters of school age and a baby who will soon start preschool, Nicole hasn't completely left that stage behind. On more than one occasion, she has shared on her social media that the return to school often brings with it the dreaded appearance of lice, even for herself. It's a recurring battle that many mothers know well.
