The head of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, issued a strong warning to the Iranian regime: Israeli forces are ready to resume a “powerful and comprehensive” operation if the situation requires it.
The declaration comes at a key moment, in the midst of diplomatic attempts led by the United States to sustain a ceasefire in the region, but with a reality on the ground that remains marked by military pressure.
Israel maintains the initiative
.During a visit to troops deployed in southern Lebanon, Zamir made it clear that Israel will not take a step backwards in its strategy
.“We will seize every opportunity to deepen the dismantling of Hezbollah,” he told the soldiers.
The message is clear: Israel seeks to consolidate its achievements and continue to weaken one of Iran's main armed arms in the region.
