Racing has officially announced its return to Nike as technical sponsor starting in 2026, after almost two decades. The new contract, signed in United States, will have an initial duration of three years, although both parties have expressed their intention to extend the partnership in the future.
The partnership represents a significant economic leap for the institution, with an estimated figure of two million dollars per year. In addition, the agreement includes an expansion of distribution channels, with presence in all shopping malls in the country and the opening of its own points of sale, which will make it easier for fans to access official apparel.
The partnership with Nike marks the end of the cycle with Kappa, which began in 2017 and will end on December 31, 2025. This way, Racing will once again wear the American brand that already accompanied it between 2006 and 2008.
"We are pleased to announce that starting in 2026 Nike will become our official technical sponsor. This strategic partnership reinforces our commitment to wear the history, passion, and greatness of our club with the excellence that defines us, both on and off the field," Racing stated on its social media.

The agreement not only implies an economic improvement, but also a leap in the quality of the apparel. Two European designers are currently working on exclusive collections for the club, ensuring that the designs maintain the academic identity and adapt to international standards. The quality will be equivalent to that used by teams such as Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, and PSG, both in match jerseys and training apparel.
With this new contract, Racing seeks to strengthen its institutional and sports image, consolidating its brand internationally and offering its fans top-level apparel. From Avellaneda, they state that the goal is clear: for this to be "an eternal partnership" between Academia and Nike.
