It's official: River and Racing have a date and venue for their Copa Argentina clash

After several days of uncertainty, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) has finally revealed the date and venue for the match between River and Racing in the quarterfinals of the Copa Argentina. The match will take place in one week, on Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 PM, at the Gigante de Arroyito, the stadium of Rosario Central.

The match will have several additional factors. On one hand, the recent departure of Maximiliano Salas from Academia to the club in Núñez, through the activation of his release clause, has caused significant discontent in Avellaneda. On the other hand, the presence of Marcos Rojo in Gustavo Costas's team, following his recent stint at Boca, is also generating great anticipation among River fans.

Meanwhile, regarding tickets for both teams, it is speculated that there will be about 20,000 spots for each, especially considering that the stadium has a capacity of almost 47,000 spectators.
