Boca's coach Boca, Miguel Ángel Russo, had to be hospitalized this Monday for scheduled medical checkups. The situation caused concern because the professionals recommended a new hospitalization, just two weeks after his last stay at the hospital.
According to reports, Russo showed signs of weakness, so he received IV fluids to stay hydrated and remains under observation, awaiting discharge during the course of the day.

The coach, who managed the 2-2 draw against Central Córdoba, went to the same medical center where he was hospitalized at the beginning of September. Back then, he had spent a week at Instituto Fleni due to a urinary infection, which prevented him from leading some training sessions.
This time, the hospitalization didn't alter the squad's routine, since the day after the match was scheduled as a day off. For this reason, it wasn't necessary for his assistants, Claudio Úbeda and Juvenal Rodríguez, to take over the training sessions, as happened weeks ago.

After being discharged on September 5, Russo had gradually returned to activities at the club, although the doctors' recommendation now is to take extra precautions to preserve his health in this third spell as Boca's head coach.
Beyond the current situation, the coach has several days to return to leading the first team. After Sunday's home draw against the team from Santiago del Estero, Xeneize will play again only on Saturday the 27th, when they visit Florencio Varela to face Defensa y Justicia for matchday 10 of the Clausura.
