Olympiacos made an offer for Zenón, and his departure from Boca could be near.

Kevin Zenón's cycle at Boca could come to an end in the coming days. According to journalist César Luis Merlo on his social media, Olympiacos of Greece has submitted a $7 million offer for 80% of the transfer rights of the attacking midfielder.

The proposal is already in the hands of the Xeneize Football Council, which must decide whether to accept the sale or not. The player, who lost prominence under Miguel Ángel Russo, views a possible move abroad favorably.

Zenón arrived at Boca in January 2024 and had a great first half of the year, with performances that positioned him as one of the team's standout figures. His performance was such that in September of that same year, Hoffenheim of Germany made an offer of 18 million euros with add-ons for his transfer; however, that offer was rejected.

Today, his outlook is completely different. His level dropped considerably in the second half of 2024, and with Russo's arrival on the bench, he ended up relegated from the starting line-up. Today he is behind and is considered an alternative.

Olympiacos's proposal has reignited international interest in Zenón, but it also exposed how the passage of time and the loss of continuity have affected his market value. If the sale goes through, Xeneize would receive a much lower amount than what was on the table a year ago.
