Matías Bertolotti warned that Friday, May 16 comes with strong storms, electrical activity, and a lot of water. Orange alert is in effect for the AMBA and surrounding areas, with a forecast of unstable weather until Sunday.
The morning started complicated, with intense rains since dawn. According to Bertolotti, the outlook remains unstable throughout the day. The storm system affecting the region has caused accumulations of up to 150 mm in areas of northern Buenos Aires such as Chivilcoy and Bragado.
