Saturday will continue with instability, with a probability of severe storms in the AMBA. The minimum will be 19°C and the maximum 23°C, with the possibility of hail and intense showers.
Matías Bertolotti warned that Friday, May 16 comes with strong storms, electrical activity, and a lot of water. Orange alert is in effect for the AMBA and surrounding areas, with a forecast of unstable weather until Sunday.
The morning started complicated, with intense rains since dawn. According to Bertolotti, the outlook remains unstable throughout the day. The storm system affecting the region has caused accumulations of up to 150 mm in areas of northern Buenos Aires such as Chivilcoy and Bragado.
During the morning, locally strong storms are expected, with abundant electrical activity and gusts. The maximum temperature will be around 23 to 24 degrees, with a heavy atmosphere and no change in air mass.
There will be temporary improvements during the day, but the storms will return at night with intensity.
Momentary improvements are expected, but the storm level rises from 3 to 4, according to Bertolotti.
Given the current alert level, it is key to pay attention to the warnings from the SMN. Bring an umbrella and raincoat, but wear light clothing due to the humidity. If you go out on Saturday, avoid stormy hours.
The cold will arrive only on Sunday, not extreme, but marking a change in trend toward the next week.
