Oscar González Oro cleared up doubts with a clear message: 'I'm doing very well.'

The host published emotional statements and clarified that his health is not at risk

In recent hours, Oscar "el Negro" González Oro made headlines due to a series of posts that raised alarms on social media. The nostalgic and reflective tone of the phrases led many to wonder if the journalist was going through a delicate health situation. However, he himself took it upon himself to deny those claims and bring reassurance.

From Uruguay, where he currently resides, the host shared on his Instagram account a series of reflections that were interpreted as farewell messages.

Posts that sparked speculation

"Hug tightly, because the last hug doesn't warn you," was one of the phrases that had the greatest impact. Other similar ones followed: "Have that after-dinner conversation, because the last meal together doesn't warn you"; "Forgive quickly, because the last argument doesn't warn you"; "Answer that call, because the last 'ring' doesn't warn you."

These expressions, which spoke of farewells and doing things without postponement, caused a strong stir among colleagues, followers, and media outlets. Many interpreted that the message had a personal background related to his health or a critical situation.

The host broke the silence

After the media impact, journalist Luis Bremer  said on the show A la Tarde (América TV) that he spoke with González Oro and confirmed that  there is a distance with his children, related to his older age.  Even so, he emphasized that the host is full of life and even suggested that he return to work because he has much to contribute.

On the same broadcast, the correspondent in Uruguay, Gustavo Descalzi, also gave his testimony. He said that he had spoken with Oro a few days earlier and found him in good spirits, energetic and actively talking about politics and current events.

Despite the speculation,  González Oro chose to clear up all doubts from his own Instagram profile. "I'm doing very well. Not everything I post has to do with me. Most are phrases from people I admire. Thank you," he wrote.

With that clarification, the host made it clear that he is not experiencing any health problems and that his posts were simply shared reflections, without a direct connection to his current life.
