A striking security incident occurred on the streets of Banfield, in the district of Lomas de Zamora. A motorcycle thief attacked a woman, fell to the ground, and although he was detained by neighbors, he ended up escaping with the complicity of the police.
Security camera footage shows how the thief intercepted his victim in a plaza. After a struggle, he managed to snatch her purse and prepared to flee.

The victim's reaction and the motorcycle thief's fall
Far from staying still, the woman chased him while the criminal tried to speed up his motorcycle. At that moment, a neighbor who witnessed the scene came to her aid.
The motorcycle thief lost control and fell to the ground. Immediately, the neighbor detained him while the victim took the opportunity to recover her belongings. They even kicked the thief several times before he tried to get back on the vehicle.
Unable to start the motorcycle, the criminal decided to escape on foot. Shortly after, a police patrol arrived at the scene and intercepted the suspect.
However, in an unexpected turn, the officers spoke with him and let him go. The situation was recorded by witnesses who were trying to point out the motorcycle thief.
