The Police National arrested a man of Pakistani origin in Palma, accused of masturbating in front of a girl in a park near a school and chasing her while touching his intimate parts. The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, caused concern among neighborhood families and highlighted the vulnerability of minors in public spaces.
According to police sources, the investigation was led by the Family and Women's Care Unit (UFAM) after a patrol intervened at the scene. The minor, visibly nervous, reported that the individual was watching her lasciviously and making gestures for her to approach, while touching himself over his clothes. Frightened, she asked a friend's father for help, who protected her and immediately notified the officers.
The witness indicated that the assailant frequented the area and that he had already been seen behaving similarly in front of other children. With his help, the police located the suspect and, during the identification process, officers discovered images of babies on his mobile phone that did not belong to his children, which aggravated the investigation.

After the corresponding procedures, the man was arrested at the beginning of the week and is charged with a crime against sexual freedom. The National Police warned that the case reflects "the need to strengthen the protection of minors and the monitoring of repeat offenses in public environments."
The incident occurs in a context of social concern over the increase in illegal immigration and the debate about the State's capacity to guarantee an orderly migration policy. According to the latest data from the Ministry of the Interior, Spain has already surpassed 30,263 irregular arrivals so far in 2025, making it the fourth worst year of the last decade.
