Pampita came out to defend Vicuña and brought down China Suárez: 'It has always been like this'
Amid the scandal over China Suárez's failed trip to Türkiye with her children, the model broke her silence
The public dispute between Eugenia "la China" Suárez and Benjamín Vicuña added a new chapter that shook the media landscape. This time, it was Carolina "Pampita" Ardohain who decided to intervene, supporting her ex-partner and father of her three sons amid the harsh accusations made by the actress after being unable to travel to Türkiye with their children, Magnolia and Amancio.
La China’s statement, published through her social media, included strong descriptions of Vicuña, whom she labeled as "jealous and envious", and accused him of having obstructed the trip she was planning with her current partner, Mauro Icardi. The topic became a trend and caused a wave of reactions.
In this scenario, Pampita’s words were among the most anticipated. Although the model and host usually avoids getting involved in other people's conflicts, This time she replied privately to Yanina Latorre, who later shared the content of the message on LAM. According to the panelist, Ardohain described Vicuña as "a loving, affectionate father, concerned about his children, present and generous", and clearly distinguished between relationship problems and his role as a father.
Pampita habló de Benjamín Vicuña como padre
"One thing is that as a husband he may have failed her—as also happened to la China—and another very different thing is to fail as a father", Latorre quoted. The phrase was interpreted as strong support for Vicuña and an implicit criticism of Suárez’s public exposure of the family conflict.
Pampita also emphasized: "He has always been like this, his whole life is his children, they are the light of his eyes." With these words, she sought to make it clear that, at least in her experience, the Chilean actor has always shown unwavering commitment to fatherhood.
Meanwhile, Ardohain posted a conciliatory message on her social media: "We will always be family, and I am proud of what we have achieved." She also called for maintaining respect "above all else," especially for the well-being of the children, who, as she implied, are currently being exposed to an unnecessary conflict.

When asked about her current relationship with la China Suárez, Pampita stated that it is "excellent", despite past tensions. Her attitude was praised by several panelists as an example of emotional maturity, for avoiding confrontation and prioritizing the well-being of the children.
