The World Cup fever has already started to sweep across the globe and, as happens every four years, Panini has once again ignited the passion of collectors. The company has unveiled its official album for the 2026 World Cup, a special edition that marks the first triple host in history and the expansion from 32 to 48 teams.
The new album will be the most ambitious Panini has ever released, as it will feature 112 pages and a record total of 980 stickers, a figure that breaks all previous standards and is justified by the tournament's expansion. Each pack will include 7 stickers, in a collection that aims to accompany the World Cup's growth and keep alive a tradition that "brings together several generations," according to the company.
The internal structure has been completely redesigned: more teams, new sections, updated badges, and a cosmopolitan approach that celebrates the competition's diversity. There will also be a distinctive aesthetic approach: the main cover will pay tribute to the United States and Canada, while Mexico will have an exclusive version that highlights its identity and distinctive colors.
The launch also brings a strategic innovation. For the first time, Panini has enabled a limited pre-sale through Amazon to gauge demand before its official arrival at newsstands. The company has not yet confirmed the exact release date, but has indicated that a historic rollout is expected so that fans can start sticking stickers as soon as possible.
El álbum de 2026 tendrá récord de páginas y figuritas
The experience will not be limited to print. Panini is preparing a complementary line of collectible cards and digital content, similar to what was seen in Qatar 2022, with the goal of building a multiplatform ecosystem that will accompany the entire World Cup cycle. A ritual that is being renewed, bigger than ever, and is already generating excitement among collectors around the world.
