A criminal accused of sexual abuse in Paraguay was arrested at a hair salon in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Colegiales, where he was working under a false identity.
The suspect had an international arrest warrant for acts of sexual abuse that occurred in Asunción, Paraguay, in January 2022. According to the Paraguayan judiciary, the victims are two children aged 10 and 11, children of a coworker of the accused.
According to judicial sources, the man, whose identity was not disclosed, entered his colleague's home in the early morning of January 5, 2022, and committed the abuse against the minors. Since that moment, he had remained a fugitive from justice.

After the issuance of the international alert, the Federal Fugitive and Extradition Investigation Division of the Argentine Federal Police launched an intelligence operation that included the analysis of data from public agencies and private entities.
The officers also carried out investigative tasks based on information provided by Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) and on tracking the accused's social media accounts.
Thanks to this work, the PFA was able to determine that the suspect was working under a false identity at a hair salon located in the Colegiales neighborhood, according to the newspaper Clarín.

With this key information in their possession, the officers conducted a surveillance operation around the establishment and managed to arrest the man while he was in a public area, on Federico Lacroze Avenue at 3300.
Meanwhile, as the extradition process requested by the government of Paraguay moves forward, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the National Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 5, presided over by Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti.
