The new political scenario in the Upper House excites the National Government. With the arrival of Patricia Bullrich in the Senate, La Libertad Avanza adds its main legislative figure to push the structural reform agenda. The newly appointed senator stated that the renewal of the body creates a balance of power favorable to the ruling party.

"Things are going to change now because we are an important majority in the Senate", Bullrich said in an interview with Radio Rivadavia. She added: "We're going to manage to pass all the laws the Executive is sending". Among the priorities, she mentioned labor reform and the budget, which she described as essential for the new stage.
Labor reform and search for agreements
Bullrich acknowledged that the Government needs votes to approve the labor reform, but she appeared confident. "We're talking to everyone to try to reach an agreement on a law that will give Argentinians the opportunity to work again", she stated.
She also argued that changing the current conditions of the labor market is essential to achieve more employment. "We're not going to do it overnight, but we will with a law that changes the current labor conditions", the newly appointed senator stated.
Regarding the toughest opposition, especially Kirchnerism and the CGT, she was clear: the ruling party will focus its efforts on those willing to embrace change. "There's no point in arguing with someone who thinks completely differently. We need to bring together those who think similarly and with that, pass the law," she said.

Legislative agenda: Budget, Penal Code, and more
In addition to labor reform, Bullrich anticipated that the Senate will prioritize the Budget, a tax law, a fiscal innocence law, and progress on the new Penal Code. Although some regulations will not be completed in this stage, she guaranteed that debates will begin immediately.
"If we now move forward with the labor law and the Budget in January, the second stage will then take shape and we're going to move forward with all the others", she explained.
Internally, Bullrich celebrated Senator Paoltroni's return to the LLA bloc. "He had some disagreements, but he's back in. We need to regroup all the senators willing to embrace change," she said.
She also referred to Vice President Victoria Villarruel, after a minor dispute that occurred during the swearing-in of the new legislators. Bullrich downplayed the tension and clarified that the situation has already been solved.
"There was a misunderstanding regarding who was sending the invitations, but Karina Milei was in the box, Santilli was there, Adorni was there. We overcame things," Bullrich said, lowering the level of conflict.
Amid speculation about possible conflicts within the Senate, the senator ruled out a heated internal dispute: "I don't know if it will be tough or not. But we're in dialogue and we can build a majority. Our intention is not to create a battlefield".
Bullrich and the AFA case: "The Judiciary is already moving quickly"
The leader also spoke about the investigations surrounding the AFA and the role of Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia. She stated that the Judiciary is already taking action and highlighted the suspicions about the loan system and fund management in Argentine soccer.

"The Judiciary is already involved and there are investigations circling around individuals who have created a system of loans and money that we need to know where it comes from", she stated.
She also recalled that during her tenure in Security, she worked alongside international organizations. "We followed cases in the United States, in Miami, and we sent information to FIFA regarding misconduct in soccer," the former minister stated.
