Tension between Milei and Macri
The confrontation between Milei and Macri has intensified in recent months due to differences in the government's direction and electoral conflicts in Buenos Aires City. The decision to reject the nominations deepened the rift within the alliance between La Libertad Avanza and sectors of PRO. After the vote, the government was left in a scenario of institutional uncertainty. Meanwhile, Ariel Lijo never assumed his position because the Court did not accept his leave, Manuel García-Mansilla did take the oath as minister, although his continuity is in doubt. From Kirchnerism, they are pressuring for García-Mansilla to leave the position, as he did not obtain the necessary two-thirds in the Senate. However, the Executive Power maintains that the appointment by decree is valid until November 30, 2025.

Bullrich will implement the Anti-Mafia Law in Rosario
In parallel, the Minister of Security announced in Rosario that the city will be the first territory where the new Anti-Mafia Law will be intensively applied. Bullrich explained that this legislation seeks to hold all members of a criminal organization accountable, regardless of their role within the structure. "Those who do it, pay for it," she stated. She also assured that the Flag Plan for the deployment of federal forces will remain in effect until the total pacification of areas affected by organized crime is guaranteed. According to the minister, the strategy already achieved a 70% reduction in homicides last year and a 30% reduction so far in 2025. In the context of Santa Fe's constitutional elections, Deputy Nicolás Mayoraz supported the policies of Milei and Bullrich, stating that they seek to reform the provincial constitution to eliminate the judicial guaranteeism promoted by previous governments. "We need a constitution that ends the guaranteeism established by the Kirchnerists and socialists," Mayoraz stated.More posts:
