An official from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), a terrorist organization that claimed responsibility for its participation in the October 7 massacre, currently lives in Spain and acts freely, now requesting political asylum from the government.
This is Fouad Baker, leader of the DFLP, who requested refuge in Spain after his application was rejected in Greece and Colombia. According to an exclusive investigation by Media Oriente and journalist Dani Lerer, the Palestinian militant resides in Bilbao and keeps ties with the separatist party Bildu, in addition to having been received by the Spanish ambassador in Lebanon in 2023.

Baker is not an unknown figure within the Palestinian terrorism network. In statements made on December 29, he openly acknowledged that his group participated in the invasion of Israel. “We didn't initiate the attack, but when it began we were already participating,” he stated, thus confirming the DFLP's direct complicity in the attacks against Israeli civilians.
Far from hiding, the official has built an active network of indoctrination and propaganda from Spanish territory. According to the investigation, he gives lectures, trains young people, and spreads messages of hate in institutions in the Basque Country. On February 27, he was seen giving a talk at a local institute, where he defended violence as a means of “resistance.”
