Peugeot 5008 GT arrives in Argentina: everything about the new seven-seater SUV
The new 5008 GT from Peugeot arrives in the country with a 1.6 THP engine, cutting-edge technology, and a price of USD 56,300
Peugeot introduced the new generation of the 5008, its seven-seat SUV, in Argentina, alongside the 3008. The only available version is the GT, which is the top of the line.
Produced in France on Stellantis's STLA Medium platform, the 5008 keeps the brand's elegance and adds technological and comfort improvements.

Exterior design and interior space
Unlike the 3008, the 5008 retains a conventional silhouette to accommodate the third row of seats. Its alloy wheels are 19 inches and it offers six colors: Ingaro Blue, Obsession Blue, Okenite White, Artense Gray, Titane Gray, and Nera Black Pearl, with a glossy black roof.
The SUV measures 4,791 mm (15 feet 8.7 inches) in length, allowing for a trunk of 348 liters with seven seats, 916 liters with five, and 2,232 liters with two rear seats folded.

Comfort and technology
The interior includes the i-Cockpit with a 21-inch panoramic HD screen, which combines a digital dashboard, multimedia display, and head-up display. It also features an inductive charger, electric panoramic sunroof, and front seats with heating, massage, and electric adjustment.
In terms of safety, it offers six airbags and advanced assistance systems: emergency automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and 360° camera.

Mechanics and price
The engine is the same 1.6 THP gasoline as the 3008: four cylinders, turbo, 180 hp, and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. It includes advanced traction control and hill descent control.
The Peugeot 5008 GT has a suggested price of USD 56,300 with a transferable warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km (62,137 miles).

For comparison, the 3008 GT costs USD 53,200.
