Peugeot unveiled the 3008 in Argentina: what it is like, what it offers, and how much it costs

The new Peugeot 3008 is now available in Argentina  and arrives with a completely renewed design, more technology, and a level of comfort that aims to set it apart from its rivals.

This mid-size SUV is positioned in the segment where Volkswagen Taos, Honda CR-V, Jeep Compass, Ford Territory, and Citroën C5 Aircross compete, according to Motor1.

An SUV with fastback design and greater aerodynamics

The new generation of the Peugeot 3008 stands out for its fastback SUV style, with a dynamic and aerodynamic silhouette (Cx 0.28). The result is an elegant, efficient, and spacious vehicle.

It is produced at the Sochaux plant in France, on Stellantis's modern STLA Medium platform. This change promises better performance and increased safety, according to Clarín Autos.

Engine and mechanics of the new Peugeot 3008

In the Argentine market, the 3008 is offered in a single version called GT, equipped with the 1.6 THP Turbo engine delivering 180 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.

This powertrain is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, seeking a balance between power, efficiency, and driving comfort.

Interior with i-Cockpit technology

The cabin introduces an evolution of the well-known Peugeot i-Cockpit. Now, it combines the head-up display and the central screen into a single 21-inch high-definition curved panoramic panel.
