Pokémon TCG Pocket, the digital version of the famous card game, surprised its community with a new benefit. As part of the 2025 Pokémon World Championship, held in Anaheim, California, The Pokémon Company announced exclusive rewards for players.
Unlike what happens in the physical market with hoarders, in the digital edition, cards and resources can be obtained at no cost. Now, users have the opportunity to claim a total of 24 free hourglasses, divided into 12 regular and 12 magical ones.
Regular hourglasses can be exchanged for card packs from any of the expansions available in the game. Meanwhile, magical hourglasses grant units of magical energy, a key resource for making magical choices within the title.
These are valuable tools that enhance the gaming experience without the need to spend real money.
Once the requirements are met, the rewards will be stored in the Twitch Drops inventory and can then be redeemed in the game with a unique code for each player.
The code will be valid until July 31, 2026, so players will have almost a year to claim their prizes and enjoy additional packs at no cost.
With these initiatives, The Pokémon Company not only keeps players' interest active but also promotes interaction on its official channels. The digital model of Pokémon TCG Pocket reinforces the idea of more inclusive access, without depending on the resale or speculation of physical cards.
