Pokémon TCG Pocket gives away packs and resources: how to get free hourglasses
Players can get 12 free hourglasses and 12 free magic items in Pokémon TCG Pocket by following a few simple steps on Twitch
Pokémon TCG Pocket, the digital version of the famous card game, surprised its community with a new benefit. As part of the 2025 Pokémon World Championship, held in Anaheim, California, The Pokémon Company announced exclusive rewards for players.
Unlike what happens in the physical market with hoarders, in the digital edition, cards and resources can be obtained at no cost. Now, users have the opportunity to claim a total of 24 free hourglasses, divided into 12 regular and 12 magical ones.
What hourglasses are used for in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Regular hourglasses can be exchanged for card packs from any of the expansions available in the game. Meanwhile, magical hourglasses grant units of magical energy, a key resource for making magical choices within the title.

These are valuable tools that enhance the gaming experience without the need to spend real money.
How to get free hourglasses
To obtain them, players must participate in the special promotion launched by The Pokémon Company and DeNA. The mechanism is as follows:
- Log in to the Pokémon Trainer Club and to the Twitch account.
- Link both accounts from the official Pokémon website.
- Watch at least 30 minutes of broadcast on the official Pokémon TCG channel on Twitch during the championship weekend.
Once the requirements are met, the rewards will be stored in the Twitch Drops inventory and can then be redeemed in the game with a unique code for each player.

Validity of the benefit
The code will be valid until July 31, 2026, so players will have almost a year to claim their prizes and enjoy additional packs at no cost.
A strategy that strengthens the community
With these initiatives, The Pokémon Company not only keeps players' interest active but also promotes interaction on its official channels. The digital model of Pokémon TCG Pocket reinforces the idea of more inclusive access, without depending on the resale or speculation of physical cards.
