President Javier Milei is already the second most approved world leader.

Milei managed to rise to second place, according to the latest data from the international polling firm Morning Consult

The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, achieved a new milestone in his administration by positioning himself as the second world leader with the highest approval, according to the latest data from the international polling firm Morning Consult.

The measurement, collected between April 1 and 7, 2025, reflects a remarkable rise from the third place he previously held, a feat attributed to his successful management at the helm of the country.

According to Morning Consult's ranking, Milei obtained a 61% approval among Argentine citizens, placing him only behind India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who leads the list with 73%. This advancement places the Argentine president above Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum, who now occupies the third place with a 60% approval.

The study also highlights other leaders like Karin Keller-Sutter of Switzerland (56%), Anthony Albanese of Australia (54%), Mark Carney of Canada (50%), and Donald Trump of the United States (48%), but Milei stands out as a prominent figure on the global stage.

Milei's rise from third to second place reflects the positive impact of his economic policies and his focus on reducing public spending, something that was not only supported among broad sectors of the population but also recognized abroad.

Since taking office in December 2023, Milei has implemented measures and structural reforms to eliminate the fiscal deficit, including cuts in public spending and a restructuring of the State.

These actions avoided what could have been the worst crisis in the country's history and caused positive results that can already be seen today, such as Argentina's exit from the deficit for the first time in over a century, the fall in poverty, the drop in inflation, and the enormous economic recovery, achievements that the Argentine president highlighted in international forums.

Despite attacks and destabilization attempts by the opposition, Milei's popularity remains solid, especially among sectors that value his discourse and his commitment to the ideas of freedom.

This new positioning in the Morning Consult ranking not only reinforces his image internationally but also strengthens his leadership in the face of the political challenges that Argentina will face in the coming months.
