President Milei remains the third world leader with the highest positive image

The data, collected between February 27 and March 5, comes from Morning Consult's international survey.

A new international survey by the renowned firm Morning Consult confirmed that the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, enjoys massive support among the population, positioning himself as the third world leader with the highest approval.

According to the report, with a 62% positive image and a 32% negative image, President Milei ranks in third place among the evaluated leaders, only behind Narendra Modi of India (77% positive) and Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico (69% positive), surpassing figures like Anthony Albanese of Australia (54%) and Donald Trump of the United States (49%).

This data, collected between February 27 and March 5, 2025, reflects a seven-day moving average of opinions from Argentine adults and highlights the resilience of the libertarian leader in the face of continuous operations and opposition attacks.

This new survey, showing the solid support for Milei from Argentines, comes at a time of high political tension in Argentina.

The opposition, led by Kirchnerist and leftist sectors, intensified their criticism of the government, especially after the case of the cryptocurrency $LIBRA. This episode was used by opponents to criticize the president.

However, Morning Consult's numbers show that these attacks did not achieve their goal. Milei's 62% positive image reflects a solid base that values the work his Government is doing, such as the enormous reduction in poverty and inflation, along with the notable economic recovery.

The opposition, meanwhile, insists on wearing down the president with accusations of "authoritarianism" and lack of social sensitivity, but the data shows that their false narratives are no longer believed by Argentines.

In the international arena, the Argentine president also stands out. His closeness with figures like Trump and Elon Musk, and his projection as a reference for the global libertarian right, reinforce his figure both inside and outside the country.

As the October legislative elections approach, this massive support could translate into a strengthening of La Libertad Avanza in Congress, further consolidating Milei's model for the country.

The Morning Consult survey shows that, despite the onslaughts, the Argentine president remains a leader with strong support, capable of weathering political storms with an approval that few achieve, even in the best times.
