Punilla: the PJ's internal conflict has erupted and Mariana Caserio improvises to avoid being left out
Siciliano met with figures distanced from Caserismo and caused an immediate reaction in the group that supports the former senator
Miguel Siciliano participated this Monday in a political meeting in Huerta Grande, where he was received by former mayors and leaders of the Punilla Crece group. The meeting lasted two hours and focused on the possible electoral strategy of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba for the October legislative elections. This approach with sectors distant from Caserismo exposed the fragility of that group and provoked immediate responses.
Punilla Crece agreed with Siciliano to move forward with common political projects and to maintain dialogue with other figures in the coming weeks. The group committed to participating in the campaign if an agreement is reached with any candidacy within Córdoba's Peronism. If unity is not achieved, they will grant freedom of action so that each leader can decide on their individual support.

Siciliano believes that La Libertad Avanza is better positioned in Córdoba for October, even without Milei leading the campaign. His assessment is based on recent experiences in other provinces, where the national government managed to consolidate itself outside of the presidential pull. For this reason, the provincial coalition is closely watching what happens with Radicalism and with De La Sota.
Miguel Siciliano is the main political strategist for the governor and his presence carries its own weight in every move he makes in the provincial interior. For this reason, his decision to meet with Punilla Crece instead of with Mariana Caserio, who is desperately seeking to regain centrality, did not go unnoticed. The gesture reinforces the idea that Caserismo is no longer the exclusive channel for articulating the PJ in the department.
Irrelevant and Scriptless Caserismo: Mariana Went Out to Improvise
The reaction from Caserismo was not long in coming: the next day, Mariana Caserio appeared at a youth event led by Vice Governor Myrian Prunotto. The gesture was interpreted as a desperate move after Siciliano's meeting with leaders opposed to her father Carlos Caserio's leadership. The vice governor, a Radical and unrelated to Peronism, was used as an excuse to simulate something resembling her own coalition.
Currently, Caserismo is experiencing a strong internal conflict between Mariana Caserio and the mayor of Capilla del Monte, Fabricio Díaz, both with legislative aspirations. Caserio's daughter only has the support of her father, who is increasingly isolated in the provincial scene. Meanwhile, Díaz retains territorial influence and seeks to compete for the departmental legislator candidacy for Punilla.

While Siciliano tries to consolidate alliances and Punilla Crece reorganizes, Mariana Caserio improvises appearances with secondary actors to avoid losing prominence. The attempt to join an event with Prunotto demonstrates her confusion and lack of real political support. With each move, she seems more interested in avoiding oblivion than in building a serious project.
